I first saw the poster for the Godiva Chocolate soft serve ice cream on the glass panel of the Godiva store in Sanlitun Village (a shopping area here in Beijing). My first thought was … Oh that looks amazing, will have to try it the next time I am in the area.
The ice cream comes in a crispy waffle cone dusted with crunchy chocolate biscuits, sprinkled with chocolate sauce. In Beijing, we only get one flavor – chocolate. I think in the US you get three different variations.
I had this the other day and I have to say, this is the best chocolate ice cream I have tasted. It is amazingly smooth and rich. It is a little pricey, but for me – worth every penny.
